Water Management Policies in Cameroon: Interference Through Technology Transfer

Water is an indispensable resource for human life and social economic development. But Oswaldo de Rivero (2003) notes that ninety-seven percent of all water on the planet salty, only 3% fresh three-quarters it concentrated in inaccessible places such as polar regions glaciers. Therefore, a small fraction earth's accessible rivers, lakes groundwater. According to international hydrological studies carried out by United Nations Stockholm Environment Institute, this declining 2025, two-thirds world's population will be affected shortages due decrease hydraulic cycle caused urban explosion. The search balance between growth vital resources has pride place MDGs, which show disparities access are high, particularly Sub-Saharan Africa, require pooling energies. In Cameroon, resurgence endemic water-borne diseases prompted government set up drinking supply system known "Scandinave Project."
